LauraLeeLeathers is owned and operated by a newer member of The Triskelion Society family, lauralee. Her store can be found on her myspace page as well as on ebay.
The experience started before even opening the box, when the postal worker handed it to Me, I noticed a definite weight in it. It was heavier then I expected so I was really excited to get it open. It was sent priority mail. I am sure she has this option for all her customers.
So I opened the box, each piece was carefully wrapped in tissue paper. As I opened each piece the first thing I noticed was the craftsmanship.
I will start the review with the 7 piece restraint set. One locking collar, set of wrist restraints with a detachable leather link, and set of ankle restraints with detachable leather link. The sturdiness and durability of this set was evident just by looking at it. When I placed each item on my lovely victim, I mean subject, kitten she immediately noticed the weight of these pieces. She says she was impressed by the weight and that there was no way she was going to 'forget' she was wearing it; however at the same time it isn't uncomfortable. She wore this set for about 4 hours the first time W/we tested it, and there were no marks from the rivet heads touching her skin that she commonly experiences with other pieces. I linked her wrists with the detachable links, and told her to break it, (she has broken restraints from other manufacturers in the past) she pulled with all her might and not even a creak. I then detached the cuffs and laid her on the bed and attached her wrists to the matching ankle restraints. She states that it is actually very comfortable, that the links are just long enough that she could rest her arms and legs at the same time, but that she knew she was going no where. None of the restraints had any rough edges that rubbed, scratched, or cut her in any way. The sizing of the fastening mechanism covers a wide variety of sizes. I then secured the restraints to O/our sawhorse, and put kitten thru her paces. The restraints did not give, or break, and again kitten felt pleasantly immobile. She never experienced unintentional discomfort from this set. On a scale of 1-10 this set rates a 10 as we have no negative feedback for them.
The next item(s) is a 5 way hogtie (used in conjunction with the restraint set). When used as the 4 piece (meaning just the hands and legs are secured behind the back) the piece was comfortable and of course strong. When kitten's collar was attached by the adjustable 5th strap, it was not a pleasant position for her, would be great as a low to medium torture position (that is a good thing in O/our world). The position was not painful, just uncomfortable, she had to continually change her position because as she rested forward she was choking herself (which she enjoys a bit) and then when she rested back it pulls her thigh muscles and lower back. Not unbearable, however not comfortable. Great thing for mild punishment for shorter lengths of time. The quality of the craftsmanship receives the same high marks as the restraint set.
Last but definitely not least, is the ladder. I was most impressed with this piece. It is a series of leather links each with an attachment point. I connected the top to her collar, front and back (she sent 2), and attached the bottoms of them to each other between her legs, she states that the feeling of it between her legs was not too tight, nor was it dangling loose. I attached her cuffs to the center area of this piece, there is LOTS that can be done with the ladders, from rope work to advanced bondage, only Y/your imagination limits Y/you. Again, the quality receives high marks.
If I had to give stars I would give 10 of 10. Definitely check out LauraLeeLeathers. I can't say enough good things. There are pics posted in the gallery of the items W/we reviewed during the review process. Kudos LauraLee
